Andrew Dumais

Who is Andrew Dumais?
Andrew Dumais is a Financial Strategist, Educator, Motivator, and Entrepreneur. Andrew has a passion for helping others to understand the world of money, and strive to live the life they desire.
While in college, Andrew worked as a financial service professional. It was during this experience that Andrew realized how little his potential clients knew about money. It bothered him that so many people - with so much potential - were unhappily accepting lives of mediocrity based off old ideas of work hard, live below your means, and save for retirement. He saw the flaws in that logic: no one was getting wealthy with that approach. He knew there had to be another way, but he did not know of a better strategy…yet.
One meeting with a colleague and his clients changed him forever. A couple in their late 60’s were having an annual meeting to go over their financial future and it did not look good for them: they did not save enough money. Sadly, the two looked at each other and said they’d just keep working hard, and hopefully everything would turn out OK. The wife said she’d keep working her job at the grocery store, and the husband said he’d try to do little odd jobs here and there as a handy man. This experience made Andrew realize he had to do something to prevent others from going through that type of emotional pain.
After spending years studying dozens of books on wealth, personal success, real estate and more, as well as attending countless seminars, Andrew developed a different perspective and appreciation for how wealth is made, and more importantly, kept.
Andrew’s beliefs are cutting edge: he believes a different paradigm exists, letting young adults break free from the old ways of thinking. While some traditional concepts still apply (as does a lot of age-old wisdom), there are other insights in dealing with money in the information economy. It is no longer about amassing a lot of money for some distant date called "retirement": it’s about cash flow…understanding and appreciating the importance of creating value for others, and sharing your money rather than stockpiling it. He believes that understanding cash flow , leverage , and control are the key ingredients in a sound financial strategy for a secure future…a future that brings true freedom from the limiting mindset of scarcity.
Andrew studied Business at the University of New Hampshire. Outside the classroom, his studies have included: personal finance, economics, investing, social media, marketing, real estate, and self improvement.
