I agree that it is easy to take the negativity as truth when you seem to hear it everywhere. The "cool" thing today is to talk about all the stuff that's going on and how it's negatively impacting everything. Well, there are always two sides to a coin, and there is definitely a positive aspect to what's going on. I find myself being a glass half empty person in the effort to be a realist. But lately I do notice myself trying to put a more positive spin on things and I know this affects how I feel internally. Bottom line is, we decide how happy we're going to be today, tomorrow and forever. If we let someone else decide, it's too easy to take the negativity for truth because there's so much of it out there. We all need a little reminder like this now and then.
